Line Gebauer


Gebauer
Line Gebauer is a psychologist and holds a PhD in neuroscience. She is currently postdoc in the Music in the Brain group at the Center of Functionally Integrative Neuroscience, Aarhus University. Line’s work primarily concerns auditory perception in people with autism spectrum disorder, including music perception. Her research interests are; perceptual inference, predictive coding, and the social and emotional impact of music.  Line is currently also working on conceptual and experimental investigations of the role of dopamine in musical prediction and pleasure, and on studies investigating the influence of the neuro-hormone ‘oxytocin’ on interpersonal rhythmic interaction and social bonding through music.
